Outfitted with a Richmond 5-spreed in the winter of 2003, and a new 427 small block in the spring of 2007, this is probably still one of the newest 1967s around. Every part has been replaced, rebuilt, or refinished. As of December 2010, nothing on the car has more than 8000 miles. This rust-free, bondo-free, professionally built resto-mod, is not a trailer queen. It gets driven to many northwest car shows. And this car has received a lot of recognition. Over the past several shows seasons, this car has participated in dozens of shows and won an award about 90% of the time. The most notable awards are 2nd place in the Modified class at the MCA Regional Judged show and 1st place in the modified class at the 2010 MCA Grand National People's Choice Show in Bellevue, WA, Best Mustang Award, several People's Choice Awards, several Best of Show Awards and several Best Paint Awards. In the summer of 2001, this car was featured in a NAPA Auto Parts commercial promoting their "Gearwrench" tools. And in the August 2006 issue of Mustang and Fords, this car shared the cover with my wife's 1968 Fastback. The feature article covered 6 pages. To read the article, click here.
